Our skiing holidays are designed for self-sufficient skiers who are old enough to look after themselves.  Therefore, you will not be sponsoring any itinerant ski-bums by traveling with us.  Consequently, we have no welcome meetings, juvenile reps joining you for dinner, no bowling evenings, no schnapps races, no disinterested chalet girls re-heating spinach roulade or banoffee pie.  How you enjoy your ski holiday is entirely up to you.

Our ski holidays are for independent skiers who can make their own minds up: hotel or apartment, where to eat, where to ski, stay in and self-cater the odd night maybe, group lessons, private lessons or a fully-qualified professional resort guide for a few days?

In short, we will make all the arrangements for your trip exactly as you would like them rather than squeezing you into some pre-planned package.  We will advise you of all the possibilities in resort and let you choose how you would like your skiing holiday to run.

We have chosen Colorado and Salzburgerland as they offer two very different types of skiing holiday.

Colorado = snow security in the high Rocky mountain air.  It is also the perfect venue for a ski safari style holiday covering acres of light fluffy snow.  Not many people realise that the skiing resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin are all on the one ski-pass and that it's remarkably easy to drive from one ski resort to another and ski for a day.  In American ski-resorts the base stations of the main lifts are organised next to huge parking lots - just drive up, slide on your boots and an express cable car will whisk you to the top!

Austria is the place Alpine charm.  The warmth of welcome, standard of cuisine and unique settings of the mountainside huts and ancient farming villages have no equal.  This, coupled with the quality of their lift systems means great skiing, hardly any queueing and a unique friendly ambience around the mountain.  It's just great fun!

Ski Par Excellence will advise and make all the necessary travel arrangements for your trip - flights, taxi transfers, hire-cars.  We have arrangements in place with all the major airlines and will advise you on costs and the best schedules for your ski party.

Airport transfers will be for your party alone: so you will not be waiting hours at the airport for another flight to arrive before the slow-coach departs.  Alternatively take a hire-car and enjoy your independence.
